Miami is one of the most romantic cities in the tournament — ocean, rooftop bars, music on the street, and football woven through it all. If you're going as a couple, this city will deliver.
What Fanway Plans For Couples in Miami
When building a couple's trip to Miami, Fanway factors in:
- 3km radius from your location for nearby recommendations
- Romantic venues — waterfront dining, rooftop bars, scenic neighbourhoods
- Fan experiences built for two — bars with seating rather than standing-room chaos
- Match day transport to Hard Rock Stadium that doesn't involve surge pricing stress
- June heat management — morning activities, shaded afternoon options
This is what that looks like on the ground.
Day 1 — Arrive Together, Explore Together
Morning: South Beach, but early. The Art Deco strip on Ocean Drive is genuinely beautiful before the tourist tide arrives — go before 9am and you'll have it almost to yourselves. Walk Collins Avenue northward toward Mid-Beach where the buildings get more interesting and the crowds thin.
Afternoon: Wynwood. Spend the afternoon walking the street art district together. The murals change regularly and some of them are extraordinary. Stop for lunch at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar or anywhere on NW 2nd Avenue that looks right. The neighbourhood is walkable and interesting without being overwhelming.
Evening: Dinner in Brickell — Miami's financial district has transformed into one of the city's best dining areas. East Hotel's Sugar rooftop bar is one of the best spots in the city for a couple: 40th-floor views, good cocktails, and a scene that feels genuinely special. Book a table.
Day 2 — Match Day
Morning: Keep it slow and comfortable. A late breakfast at Mandolin Aegean Bistro in the Upper East Side — a beautiful, shaded outdoor restaurant with excellent Greek food. Exactly the right pace for a match day morning.
Afternoon: Pre-book a rideshare to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Budget 35–45 minutes and leave with comfortable margin. The pre-match atmosphere outside the stadium is strong — find a spot in the fan zone together before heading inside.
Evening: Post-match, head back toward Brickell or Coconut Grove for dinner. Coconut Grove especially — waterfront restaurants, a slower pace, and a romantic atmosphere that works well for a post-match evening when you want to wind down rather than keep going.
Day 3 — The City, Your Way
Morning: Coconut Grove. Spend the morning in this waterfront neighbourhood — walk around the marina, have breakfast at Greenstreet Café on the terrace, and wander the tree-lined streets. It's the most relaxed corner of Miami.
Afternoon: Design District for the afternoon. Even if you're not shopping, the architecture and street art installations are worth seeing. Lunch at KYU — wood-fired Asian cuisine in a beautiful space. One of the best restaurants in the city.
Evening: Back to South Beach for a sunset walk along the beach and dinner somewhere away from Ocean Drive. The streets one block back — Española Way — have much better restaurants at lower prices in a genuinely charming setting.
Your Plan Should Know You Both Better Than This
This is a starting point. A generic couple's plan for Miami.
Fanway builds it around where you're both staying, your specific match dates, and what works for two people rather than a generic group. South Beach couple and a Brickell couple get completely different daily recommendations.
